This Page is intended to give you some information about our Supplementary classes service. It cannot tell you everything, and we hope you will visit the Trust, ask questions and form your own impressions!
We value diversity and strive to ensure that we are welcoming and are approachable to each other and all who visit us. Our motto is “Our service is for everyone”. The ways in which Muslim supplementary schools might form part of the wider social and educational community are then explored together with factors that might block or encourage the creation of such an ideal.

At Qadria Trust Madrassah we have developed a structure to fit the needs of students and parents alike. We understand that all students learn in different ways and at different rates. Having this in mind we now offer online as well as onsite classes.

• Hifz Session: 4.30pm-6.30pm
At Qadria Trust Madrassah we believe that a broad, yet well-balanced syllabus is central to the success of any Madrasah. Therefore, many years of development, thought and consultation has gone into devising our syllabus. Our syllabus comprises of many well-known textbooks and resources that we have meticulously filtered through and selected all relevant lessons for our students.
The 4 components that are included within our curriculum:
1) Qaida and Quran recitation with tajweed.
Students begin with Qaida recitation by focusing primarily on correct pronunciation and articulation of the letters. A great emphasis is put on the Qaida as this is the foundation on which their future recitation will be built upon. After successful completion of the Qaida, the students progress to recite Juz ʿAmma (the 30th part). Once students have grasped reciting Quran with tajweed correctly they will be encouraged to memorise some of the Quran beginning with Juz ‘Amma and moving onto the barakah surahs (i.e. Surah Yaseen, Mulk, Rahman, etc). On completion of the first stage of memorisation, students can progress into the Hifz class in which the remainder of the Quran will be memorised (God Willing).
2) Islamic Studies :
One of our main focuses at Qadria Trust Madrassah, alongside correct recitation of the Quran, is to provide students with a firm understanding of their religion. For this we have developed an extensive syllabus that includes (but is not exclusive to) the following subjects:
– Aqidah (Basic tenants of faith)
– Fiqh (Islamic rules and practices)
– Sirah (The life of the beloved Prophet ﷺ )
– Tarikh (Islamic History)
– Adab and Akhlaq (Islamic Etiquette and Mannerisms)
3) Salah and Duas memorisation
All students at the Madrassah also memorise their salah and important duas, such as those for eating, sleeping, etc. These are tracked, recorded, and listened to on a regular basis by the teacher. Students are given regular homework in which they are to memorise lessons set by their teacher.
4) Islamic Etiquette and mannerisms
We at Qadria Trust Maddrassah believe it is of utmost importance that we develop our students into well mannered young adults. To accomplish this, we have regular sessions and assemblies in which we try and instil an Islamic ethos within our students. Weekly themes are assigned to the class in which they are to focus on a particular topic such as ‘how to respect parents?’. In these sessions they will learn on a theoretical and practical level of how to implement this given theme into their daily lives.
At Qadria trust Madrassah we have:
• Small class sizes
• High-quality Quranic teaching with Tajweed
• A structured syllabus taught by qualified & experienced staff (all DBS checked)
• Development of Islamic etiquette and manners
• An enjoyable and relaxed environment
